Classes at Rocio Studios
Our studio has 8 torches on the bead table all fitted
with creation stations. There is also a glass blowing
table with two more larger torches for boro tube
working. We keep adding more things to the studio
to make it as fun and care-free as we can.

Every class held at Rocio Studios includes lunch (subs or pizza). There is always a water cooler
filled with fresh spring water along with a chest of ice filled with nice cool bottled water and
sodas (A nice thing to have in the warm summer days in Florida). Each class fee includes all
materials, food and refreshments, so you don't need to bring anything but your protective
eyewear. But, if you forget that... we have extras waiting for you as well.
We work hard at providing everything you need so you can forget about everything and focus
on having fun and learning new techniques. If you would like to see an artist that is not

You’ll learn how to visualize and design sculptural beads from the inside out, and how to
diagram and create the design by working from largest to smallest detail. You’ll learn how to
turn rancid dead beads into great fish, where to go for inspiration and design ideas, and how to
find your own creative voice. You’ll practice new techniques while making an assortment of
strange creatures! You’ll learn to control the flame while making dessert! You’ll experience the
amazing Beatles Bead Toss! If you’re lucky, you’ll Survive the Dreaded Poopypants Creativity

Combo class: Mural & Pictorial Beads and Silly Sculpture
3 days, Intermediate level.
$625 Which includes all materials, lots of bottled water and lunch each day.
You'll learn beadmaking from the inside out - create picture beads with 3D surface detail, depth,
and perspective. We'll make all the components (enamel and goldstone stringers, flower, leaf,
decorative canes, etc.), then build layered encased picture beads with internal background
designs and painted/sculpted surface details (think ponds with lily pads & frogs, landscapes with
3-D nubbly trees, grapes and vines! Godzilla Stomping Tokyo!)
And we'll have a day of sculptural techniques, too. You'll learn where to go for inspiration and
design ideas, and how to find your own creative voice. You'll learn how to plan and diagram
